2best lessons for week 2 2016

As the week comes to an end..what are the things that you have learned?what are the things that you have achieved?
Well everyone has a battle that they are dealing with..and you can never know how well the shoe fits the other person if you are not that person..so the best thing you can do is to be kind! Some only need your smile, some only need your one text saying hello, some only need you to extend your hand and lift em up..
Personally in this week I have learned two things!!
1.understanding

That when people hurt you so much..don't hate them or don't do anything to hurt them back..but instead try to put yourself in their shoe and understand them..not all the times people do things with purpose of hurting you..be positive enough to allow positive possibilities that might have caused them to act or do whatever hurt you, just don't focus on the hurting part.

#2..on love
Love is a wider subject that we have to talk about everyday because this is what makes us..we are made of love..our biggest commandment is to love one another..well as it says "DONT LOVE WITH EXPECTIONS BCOZ WHEN EXPECTATIONS ARE NOT MET THE LOVE TURNS TO OFFENCE,ANGER.BITTERNESS,HATRED AND EVENTUALLY BECOMES SIN"
Do not expect to be given the same amount of love you give out to others....sometimes you can be rejected and sometimes people can step on what you are giving to them..love them any way and pray for them but don't hate!!!and don't force them to love you back.."like the saying goes tends wema uende zako" love and never expect to get same amount of love u give out"
Tumeagizwa upendo...

Wishing you a happy weekend!!

NEW YEAR, NEW MIND

Its 2018. Am grateful to God for allowing me and my family, friends to see this year. 2017, was quite a long, challenging year for me, my mind was a battlefield that hosted the many wars that were in me, i felt helpless most of the time and it was as if everything was not working out. But at the end of the year, i was constantly telling myself that i needed to step in 2018 with a changed mind, changed attitude towards everything that has been battling in my mind, changed view of how i see life, changed mind on how i see myself and life generally. I just wanted to take control of my mind, and every situation that i can possibly control and the hardest i leave them to God. Now a new year, does not necessary make everything new, nor does the movement of the clock produce the newness of life , it is the movement in your mind that gives newness to life. Our biggest enemy we have in our lives is 'ourselves', in what we think, in what we have in our minds, and unless we take ...

Maisha class by Dina Marios

Was watching a maisha class by Dina Marios and am really impressed with what she spoke about...we live in a community that not everyone is like the other person, but we are supposed to know who we are and how to behave in the best possible way we can be..no one is perfect but we can try to be the best we can.. Below are 8+1(from me) lessons that can add something to your life, can change your perception perhaps and inspire you to be the best.. Will summarize below 1.True happiness comes from within, not from without, not from your friends, family, boy\girlfriend. .you have you to love..you have you to fight for.. 2.live without fear and taking a step-u are here in the world for a purpose..its your life..take control 3.dont make any decision under influence of anger,,instead think, analyze and make the decision anger free 4.no situation is permanent, no matter what it is it will pass..we live in seasons that come and go..so dont stress too much 5.be flexible for change and b...

Lessons from the wilderness

A wilderness is considered to be the most inhospitable region/ a position of disfavor. Every person at a point in life experiences a "wilderness experience" (a tough time which endures discomfort  and trials, it can be emotional drought, spiritual or even financial drought). For Christians, there are several biblical examples of people enduring a "wilderness experience", . The people of Israel experienced a wilderness throughout their journey to the promised land and many other examples. Most of us are goal oriented people and we tend to believe that once we settle on a goal, a laser -like focus on it is the best way to reach it, if we block all the distractions around us, then most def initely we are to arrive to the promised land we have been dreaming of. But That's not exactly how life goes. Money is lost, it gets tight, family members get sick, jobs get downsized, houses get burnt, families separate, relationships break and any other things that com...
