Did Jussie Smollet "Jamal" Leave Empire?

so most of us loved watching empire because of Jamal "Jussie Smollet", specifically his music. Yes the guy can sing well and make you want more from the show.
Then we start hearing rumors that he will be soon leaving the show for good on the Season Finale, and here is what managed to gather about this,

So the story starts with this tweet from him,

So this gave a clue to his fans that he was leaving the show for good.

Then another tweet from him was as below

This also gave his fans another reason to worry that it was for sure that he was leaving the show.

But,

After watching the season finale, i think we can not conclude if he will be gone for sure, as the seasons ends with him on the hospital fighting for his life.

Also,

According to Entertainment Weekly, the news is not true. he is still under Contract. But this might be a strategy to spoil the show.

So,

for the ones like me who don't believe in rumors, will sit and wait for the next season and hope to see our favorite character.
