Looking at the sky

For most people Monday's are hectic. It is after a short break of two days you resume to work, talking from an F.M perspective. Monday's are always packed up with a lot of work.(starting from last week's reports review, to presentations, meetings, planning and budgeting for the ongoing week, balancing all other un closed accounts and the list is endless))
So for me i take Monday as a very serious day, and i take my time to plan well for what needs to be done and i put deadlines for myself.
Also i have come to know that when you get to your office, make sure the first five hours before noon are the hours you do all your important work and anything that does not need too much thinking or efforts can be done afternoon.
This includes putting your phone away, logging out or anything to do with social media like facebook, whatsapp, instagram is completely put away at this moment, only very important calls and emails are the one that can be answered.
Informing your colleagues the time they can come to your office for anything not an emergency, (the most visited office in any organisation is the Finance department office...i know am correct in this.
Atleast the above have helped me in achieving most of my goals at work., what do you do?

So after a long day at work what do you do ?
i most of the time take half an hour of an alone time, sit and think and reflect everything i did during the day. Normally after exhausting how my day went i then sit back, relax, and look at the sky just admiring everything that can be seen on the sky, at this point am not thinking about anything.

Music does some magic, beautiful magic. just try it.

happy week

NEW YEAR, NEW MIND

Its 2018. Am grateful to God for allowing me and my family, friends to see this year. 2017, was quite a long, challenging year for me, my mind was a battlefield that hosted the many wars that were in me, i felt helpless most of the time and it was as if everything was not working out. But at the end of the year, i was constantly telling myself that i needed to step in 2018 with a changed mind, changed attitude towards everything that has been battling in my mind, changed view of how i see life, changed mind on how i see myself and life generally. I just wanted to take control of my mind, and every situation that i can possibly control and the hardest i leave them to God. Now a new year, does not necessary make everything new, nor does the movement of the clock produce the newness of life , it is the movement in your mind that gives newness to life. Our biggest enemy we have in our lives is 'ourselves', in what we think, in what we have in our minds, and unless we take ...

Maisha class by Dina Marios

Was watching a maisha class by Dina Marios and am really impressed with what she spoke about...we live in a community that not everyone is like the other person, but we are supposed to know who we are and how to behave in the best possible way we can be..no one is perfect but we can try to be the best we can.. Below are 8+1(from me) lessons that can add something to your life, can change your perception perhaps and inspire you to be the best.. Will summarize below 1.True happiness comes from within, not from without, not from your friends, family, boy\girlfriend. .you have you to love..you have you to fight for.. 2.live without fear and taking a step-u are here in the world for a purpose..its your life..take control 3.dont make any decision under influence of anger,,instead think, analyze and make the decision anger free 4.no situation is permanent, no matter what it is it will pass..we live in seasons that come and go..so dont stress too much 5.be flexible for change and b...
